I am told I should do this blog thing if I am ever to get my book off the ground. It's supremely scary--I am not looking forward to having to read it again to finish my sequel. Won't go thru a self-publisher again if I can help it--they print on demand, and the books are never seen physically unless I wangle one into a brick-and-mortar. I'm not a salesperson. Need a literary agent...

It's Official!
My book is on its way to being published! Hard to believe! I've had a few ideas about the sequel; they're already bugging me to start one.

First post
Here I am at my first blog. Writers have these, and I was advised to get one. Not clear on what I should put on it.
I've written a book, which will be published within a month, I hope. It all depends on when I get the front cover illustration in to the publisher.
I am self-publishing through Xlibris, out of Indiana. The title of the book is "Be Not Afraid", and I was anything but fearless when I wrote it. In fact, I about scared myself out of writing it! My best friend found it too intense to finish, but there were others who made it through to the end and really liked it.
The book entails a battle between Heaven and Hell, and the people who are caught in between--pretty much everyone on the planet, really.
That's it for now, I guess.
